Hockey
Our mission is to breathe new life into recycled hockey sticks and elevate everyday outdoor activities through practical design and a shared passion for hockey.
When hockey sticks break, it’s usually near the blade—condemning perfectly good carbon fibre shafts to the landfill. Instead, we rescue these premium sticks, repurposing them through innovative engineering into unique, sustainable products that give them a meaningful second life.
All of our products are thoughtfully designed and handcrafted locally by ourselves in Toronto.

How we get our sticks
Did you know that over 2 million hockey sticks are sent to the landfill each year?
ReStix is partnered with hockey arenas around the country. We collect their broken sticks that would otherwise end up at a landifill.
Nick, a dedicated hockey enthusiast who played throughout his school years, earned his engineering degree from the University of Toronto.
Combining his engineering expertise, passion for hockey, and commitment to sustainability, he created ReStix to repurpose broken hockey sticks into useful products.
Nick was born and raised in Hamilton, Ontario, and currently works with Sam in Toronto.
Sam met Nick during their fraternity days at the University of Toronto, where they still base their operations. Moving to Canada at a young age, Sam quickly embraced the local tradition of road hockey, developing a lifelong passion for the game.
With a business degree from U of T and a specialization in E-Commerce, Sam brings entrepreneurial savvy to ReStix, managing its online presence—including creating this website.
We'd love to get the chance to talk to you.
